We came here for the first time over the weekend. Nicely decorated and very friendly staff. The food was good but not as good as expected. The onion roast was more well done than medium. In addition, the piece of meat was relatively small. The roast pork was delicious, but the potato dumplings were unfortunately very soft, as if they had been in the water for too long. The waiting time for the food was okay, but could have been shorter as there was relatively little going on.

Was very, very nice there, and the food was very good and large portions, will be back.

We went to dinner with you for the first time today. The ambience and the decoration were very nice and also with great attention to detail. And the food was really very good we were thrilled. Very tasty regional and seasonal dishes. The service is very courteous. You feel very comfortable and the boss cooks himself. A place to feel good.

I said we'd be back and this week we'd been here for the 2nd time to eat And it was great again. Look at my plate in the photo. The roast pork was delicious and the service was very friendly. It's just a shame that we have to go home again, we loved being here in Abensberg.

I haven't been here for years - it wasn't good then. BUT NOW: Renovated with a new tenant - everything is great! There were four of us yesterday, we all had a very good main course and the desserts were wonderful too. Everyone is full 😀. The staff was very friendly and always available, the ambience inviting, the seating was generous (Corona). The prices - not cheap but reasonable for food of such quality and quantity. Only the noises in the room (conversations from other guests) are a bit too loud for me. And that although only about 50% of the tables were occupied. Overall, a very enjoyable evening, we will definitely come back!

Extremely friendly service, very good food, 1/4 duck with dumplings and red cabbage was very good, price-performance ratio is right here. We'll come back this wo for sure.

Abensberg? We didn't know and didn't expect it. A very interesting place. The stop at the Kuchlbauer then completely thrilled us. Good Bavarian cuisine, served by the friendly staff. Perfect

Very nice rustic restaurant. The food was amazing. Has not eaten so well in a long time. The staff is unique, they try to fulfill every wish. We were there today when it suddenly started to pour out of buckets. The staff tried hard to organize a dry place for us. At the end we were offered a place inside which I found very nice, especially because they were actually full. I can only recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come again.

Very good food. It is very cozy to sit outside. The waitresses are very courteous and accommodating. Recommendable!

We were eating 3 times in the opening week! It was a dream! Very friendly staff, Ms. Daxl steps on the gas in the pub - so that everything runs smoothly - her husband often comes out of the kitchen and asks the guests if everything went well. This is how a pub has to be. The pictures of the food speak for themselves! High quality, wonderfully arranged and simply tasty! Not to be compared with the last few years under a different management! I will come back many, many times!

Really a great, cozy and quaint Bavarian shop. Warmly and comfortably furnished. The staff very friendly and informative, right now at corona times and also very brisk and attentive. The offer and food just perfect. Bavarian classic, up to modern and extraordinary dishes. The starter, the Kaspressknödelsuppe super strong and the dumplings fresh and delicious. The main dishes are extremely tasty. Perfect fried potatoes and the meat was very convincing on the point and the quality. In addition, appealing and beautiful / modern arranged. A place that can definitely be highly recommended. Keep it up!!! :)

We dined excellently and were impressed by the original brewing inn atmosphere in the vault. Fresh Kuchlbauer wheat on tap is recommended. The fish is very good. The small mixed salad also tastes very good. The menu or the dishes are composed in an original way, at the same time tasty and generous.

Good Food and Beer, but no AC did heat up the location very fast.

Very delicious Bavarian food as well as our own Kuchlbauer beer. Highly Recommended. You can also expect a chic and rustic ambience and a superbly located terrace with a view of the Abensberg town square.
